Complete, more to come for a London arts submission.
The plot thickens…
Just completed an invitation design for my company Computers & Structures. We have an annual themed party at city hall where civil engineers and friends come all over the globe to help us celebrate our technology that is so widely used to help architectural marvels. With this year’s them being Moulin Rouge, I took rustic Parisian sensibilities with a spit of contemporary design and voila! We love what foil can do.
I picked up a new green screen. Here’s my first test. This will lead to some interesting performance art/video pieces! I’m excited to try out some of these new things with my Canon 60D!
Here is a performance piece I have been working on and it’s going to be on going…
I’ve begun my new series by starting the laborious creation of new large plaster studs which will be painted and clear coated later in the process. These were made out of silicone molds. Only hundreds more to go!

Bay Area in Miami, a set on Flickr.
Last week was Art Basel Miami Beach’s 10th edition, and after attending ten out of the eighteen participating art fairs, walking nearly 20 miles and visiting over 400 galleries, we were proud to see our Bay Area visual arts ambassadors well represented. We stayed on Collins street in the heart of Miami Beach where many of the art hotels took place. Read more at SFist.

Wow, 10th edition of Art Basel! Five art fairs 20 miles of walking in 3 days, with probably over 400 gallery visits, phew!!! I hope you get to enjoy some of the amazing art I was able to experience. I wish I took more pictures.
